About Lindsey

I am a responsible and dependent graduate student with over 10 years of experience babysitting. While I have experience with children of all ages, most recently, the age range of the children I babysit are between 7 months and 6 years old. Also, I was a day camp and overnight camp counselor for children with cognitive and physical disabilities (e. g., autism, cerebral palsy). When babysitting, I am patient and engage the children in fun activities, such as playing with magna tiles or doing arts and crafts. I am also very active, so I love taking the children I babysit on walks or to the playground (weather permitting!). I have been CPR and first aid certified. While I don't have a car, I have a driver's license (and a clean driving record - including no tickets) and am very comfortable with public transit. I have a B. A. in Fine Arts and Psychology from GWU, a M. A. in Psychology from American University, and I am currently in school for my Ph. D. in Psychology.
