About Lindsay

My name is Lindsay L. and I am currently in my third semester of graduate school working towards my Master's in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Texas at Dallas. I have always had a passion for working with children which has fueled my interest in becoming a certified speech-language pathologist. In terms of experience with children, I worked for a family from September 2019 to August 2021 as a nanny for 4 children in which I helped with household chores, meal preparation, and helping the children with their homework. In addition to this, I worked at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas from May 2021to to January 2022 as a Newborn Hearing Screener on the postpartum floor and in the NICU. As a student in a speech-language pathology program, I have gotten practicum experience with children ranging from 2 to 5 years old with varying disabilities including hearing impairments, neurodivergencies, developmental delays, and genetic disorders.
