We spoke to several references before hiring Lexi and they all told us the same thing, that she was very sweet, but very undependable. They told us various excuses (lies) and stories that she told and the hardships and difficult situations that they were put in due to her canceling on them last minute. Despite this, we decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. It sounded like she was going through a hard time and we wanted to give her a chance. Unfortunately, she told us the same lies that she had told other families (pretending that she was offered an internship that didn’t exist) and bailed on us less than 24 hours in advance for a long term position which we interviewed and passed on several other people for. This is not the first, second or third family that has been negatively affected by Lexi with this same pattern of behavior. I would strongly encourage you to look elsewhere for your childcare needs.
