About Laurie

I'd describe my personality as warm, loving, and outgoing. I like tutoring because I taught public school in upstate New York for 36 years and I miss working with students. I always tutored on the side as I was teaching fulltime. I'm looking for a job that I can help a student learn in any way possible. I use all different modalities to make sure that the student learns and retains the information. I started tutoring when I was still teaching. I always tutored ongoing as I continued with my profession. In my spare time, I like to play pickleball, my flute, read, and spend time with my family and friends.
