About Shelby

As an Early Education tutor, I bring a passion for working with young children and helping them develop strong foundational skills. I believe that every child has a unique learning style, and I strive to create a personalized learning experience that suits each child's needs. My goal is to make learning fun, engaging, and interactive so that children develop a love for learning. Whether it's teaching pre-literacy skills through storytelling or enhancing fine motor skills through art, I am committed to helping children achieve success and reach their full potential. I graduated from the University of Nebraska Lincoln in 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. In 2019, I became a tutor at Learning Unlimited in Oahu, Hawaii. During my four years at this company, I worked with students ranging from 4 years old to fourth grade. I tutored math, reading, and writing as well as private school admission prep. I then moved to Florida where I began my own tutoring practice.
