About Lauren

I am excited to say that I love learning and love working with kids! I was a teacher in the public school system for 8 years and have experience teaching kindergarten, preschool, as well as special education up to 4th grade. For the past 4 years, I have been working as a behavior consultant through the Medicaid Waiver for individuals with disabilities--in an effort to help them identify and reach behavioral goals. I have a great deal of patience when it comes to working with kids, and understand how frustrating it can be when certain subjects or content is difficult to understand! I love when I am able to work with students and witness the "lightbulb" moment, or see improvement in their skills through strategies I have given them.
