About Amelia

Hello! My name is Amelia and I am a new mom to a 4-month-old! My husband and I live with our daughter and two dogs in the Broad Ripple area and love it so much! I am a current first grade teacher in Indianapolis. I have been teaching pre-kindergarten up through first grade for the past 13 years. Literacy is my passion, and I love teaching students a life skill they will use every single day for the rest of their lives! Teaching math is also something I love and helping kids use critical thinking skills is a joy of mine. I am looking for tutoring positions where I can work with lower elementary students. I also excel in teaching pre kindergarten skills to get your child ready to start school ahead of the game! I can help your student catch up if they are behind in certain areas or enrich them if they could use the push!
