I'm a compassionate graduate student at San Diego State University pursuing a master's in Multicultural Community Clinical Counseling (Grad date May 2024) with 5+ years of paid tutoring experience; teaching K-12 subjects and American Sign Language. I received my bachelor's in linguistics with a minor in psychology. I gained expertise in speech & language development and a license to teach English as a second language (TESL certificate). I've worked in infant and childcare as a babysitter since age 17, 2 years as a behavior therapist to neurodiverse children, and have personal experience as a mother to a 9-year-old. I currently work as a student mental health clinician to earn hours toward my license in clinical counseling. As I continue my education, I would love to work closely with families providing coaching, nanny services, tutoring, domestic care and any other needs that my skills can lend themselves to.
