About Kristina

I'm Kristina, and I started working in various positions caring for others about 10 years ago! I started working in a school for students with intellectual disabilities, then went to school and became an occupational therapy assistant. I briefly worked in skilled nursing before deciding medical facilities, and making a living through billing insurance companies wasn't for me. I would much rather be more hands on, and prioritize a client's needs over writing notes and "being billable" enough. I did end up finding a wonderful job at a day program with seniors who have intellectual and physical disabilities! I've had this job for almost 3 years. It is only on-call or about one day per week at the moment, which makes me available to take a part-time caregiving position :)
