About Kira

I've been working as a nanny, babysitter, and caregiver in the twin cities area for the last 8 years. Additionally, I have experience as a reading and writing tutor, which I love and am happy to bring to any position. My goal with families is to provide support in whatever way makes sense for you, whether that means cooking, food prep, childcare, cleaning, tutoring or transportation. Cooking is a passion of mine and I am always excited to share that with families. I believe playing with children is vital to developing a healthy connection. I'm always happy to sit on the floor and play, build forts, games, etc. It's very important to me children are treated with respect. I value their autonomy, curiosity, opinions, feelings, and of course their sweetness. Outside of work, I'm a homebody and enjoy hosting my loved ones. If I'm not at home, you can probably find me with my grandma or at a body of water. My hobbies include reading, art, writing, cooking and baking.
