About Kelsy

I currently work as a Recreation Therapist within the school system, doing group therapy sessions for special education classes. In this job I work with a variety of ages and ability, serving kids as young as 3 years old. I have also worked for 2 summer camps, the first being Ferndale Day Camp and also Ascendigo Autism services. For Ferndale Day Camp, I was a counselor for 50 kids each week from 5-12 years old. For Ascendigo, I worked in Carbondale, CO and was paired 1 on 1 with an autistic individual providing care and being their sport coach. Ascendigo is an extreme sports camp that allows it's campers to gain experience in river rafting, lake sports, rock climbing, and horse-back riding. Lastly, I have infant and toddler experience, obtained while working at Discovery Days Learning Center in Grandville, MI throughout my college career. I love kids and am happy to care for any age.
