About Kelsey

I am a 7th grade teacher and have 3 years of teaching experience. However, I have been working with children for over 10 years now. I have experience with students ranging in ages from 3 to 15 years old. I typically babysit or work with educational programs during the summers. For younger children my responsibilities have included getting them ready for the day, preparing snack, educational games, story time, and bath time. I have worked with older students predominantly in a classroom/summer camp setting. I have volunteered with 5-year-olds in a kindergarten class. I assisted in a summer educational program with 10-year-olds where I led lessons and assisted in games. I was also involved in a separate summer program where I taught 15 years olds in my own classroom. In this setting, I helped with homework and worked on relationship building after class ended in a daily advisory session.
