I loved my job as a Personal Care Aide. I started as a PCA because my mother was a Medication Tech for 20 years at the family owned company I worked for. Ever since I could remember, I have been around the elderly most of my life. The job is very rewarding in all aspects. I like to listen to stories and hear about how much love the elderly have. I assisted with showers, bathroom breaks, getting dressed, and assisted with walking. I also love to lend a shoulder and an ear if someone needs a person to talk to.
