About Kaylee

I like to take the Montessori approach when it comes to learning fine motor, gross motor, and cognitive developmental skills. I'd describe my personality as free spirit and gentle. I'm looking for a job that is welcoming and able to build a long lasting connection. I started working with kids when I was 16 at a center. One thing you should know about me is I do NOT what so ever believe in yelling (for children not my own) I like to take a more calm approach and see where the child is coming from, when a child is feeling overwhelmed I always like to first remove them from the situation to a calm safe place they can regulate their emotions with some fidget toys, book ect... then ask myself "what can I do to meet this child's needs" we then have a talk and try to find a solution to big emotions. My skills include, always finding interactive learning activities and always being able to access my inner child to make play time more fun!
