About Kayla
Hi! I am a former social studies teacher who now stays home with my 2-year-old son! I have missed being in the classroom and looking for a way to still be able to experience my passion for history and educating kids! I taught five years at Grain Valley North Middle School and one year at Blue Springs High School. I taught Ancient civilizations (6th grade), American History (7th grade), World History (10th grade), and American Government (12th grade and 6th grade). I also taught Psychology and Sociology during student teaching to 11th and 12th grade. I would love to help tutor one one one, or small groups! Definitely willing to do in person if you are comfortable at my home or virtual!
