About Katya

Hi! My name is Katya and I am a 26-year-old graduate student at NYU. As a childcare provider, I strive for intentionality, clear communication, and professionalism with the families I work with. I understand that each family is different and I am excited to work together to create a routine that best supports you. I have 8+ years experience in part-time babysitting roles. Most recently, I was an assistant teacher at a Waldorf preschool for their summer program held in Prospect Park for children aged 3-5. In college, I ran an after-school program, creating age-appropriate programming for children aged 5-18 and volunteered as an assistant teacher through my ballet company, teaching ballet classes to children with disabilities aged 7-13. I strive to ground myself in one guiding principle: meet each child where they are at--do all that I can to ensure that they feel seen, safe, and loved.
