About Katie

Hello. I have over 20 years experience working with seniors. I have worked in assisted living, hospice and private home settings. Working with seniors brings me so much joy and fulfillment because they are the most wise and experienced demographic. Seniors have given so much to this world and I love being a part of their care team. I am certified in First Aid and CPR by the American Red Cross and Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association. I have over 60 hours of coursework toward a B. A. in Sociology from Texas Tech University. Some of my classes included Ethics, Philosophy, Statistics, and Equality in America. I am currently enrolled in classes to become a Certified Nurse Assistant. I have skills in bathing, feeding, lifting and transporting clients; making beds, and caring for clients clothing and other property. I am able to assist medically trained personnel, communicate effectively, and keep simple records. I am very ethical and compassionate.
