About Katia

I have received certification and a dual Masters Degree in both early childhood and childhood education. My inspiration to teach transpired during my childhood years because I had a teacher who went above and beyond to provide me with an impactful learning experience. I have taught students in K-5 and genuinely am concerned about each students learning. I implement techniques for them to excel and reach their potential. My educational experiences and goal approach is to instill confidence and positivity in students when learning. I realize that being a teacher is more than a job or career, it is a lifestyle. As a successful educator, I believe in the students, and it encourages them to believe in themselves. I see the best in them, and I encourage them to become confident in themselves and allow them to learn in their own individual learning style. I do my best to instill them with positive values and help them grow as people, as well as young scholars.
