About Kathleen
I am in my fourth year of college at Miami University studying special education. Throughout my four years here I have participated in multiple tutoring activities with students from elementary grades all the way through high school. Our classes have provided a lot of instruction on how to individualize instruction towards struggling students and how to provide effective direct instruction. In high school I volunteered in Newark, NJ helping students learn how to read. I also worked at an aftercare for 4 years which included a lot of homework assistance.
