About Katherine

Hello! I'm Kate, a Michigan State University graduate with a degree in Speech Language Pathology with a specialization in Health Promotions and Child Development. I am originally from Rockford, MI and a graduate of Rockford High School. I began nannying and tutoring at a young age and continued throughout college. I spent 6 years pursuing my career in Chicago and decided to move back to Rockford for family! The majority of my experience is in Reading, English, and Science, but with but am also well rounded in other areas given my diverse experience in the corporate world. My recent experience includes working for a company that develops an online learning platform! I have a passion for kids, I am organized and structured but also want to make learning fun and help out with any additional tasks needed around the house. With the transition to online learning, I am very technically savvy and believe I would a great fit helping your kids get the most out of their online education.
