About Amanda

Hello! My name is Amanda and I am a learning disabilities major at Aquinas College. I have experience tutoring and working with students at a variety of schools but this work was for classes and was unpaid. I've taken multiple classes which have given me opportunities tutoring students in literacy as well as other classes. This summer I wanted to take time to continue working and helping kids learn, and with school being online I felt like this time would be a great to offer additional help for students still in school and not seeing their teachers everyday. I have observed and tutored in many schools during my college career. In high school, I was a link and a "buddy" for an organization called the miracle league. I am still currently a buddy and help kids with special needs during a summer baseball season. On my free time, I have 3 horses and am a member of 4H. I also am a member of my colleges cross country and track teams and evidently enjoy to run and being physically fit.
