Though our circumstances weren't quite the perfect fit in the end, we're grateful that Kathy came to meet us after a great phone call. She connected immediately with both our young kids and with us. Kathy is warm, outgoing and genuine. Her education experience shines in how she maintained rapport with both us semi-burnt-out adults and our under-slept over-excited children, who she treated with that confident, attentive manner your best teachers have. Kathy was supportive of our desire for a mostly "play based" setting, while also explaining how she could develop curriculum tailored to our children's ages. I think Kathy is both a warm caregiver and a professional teacher who will fulfill her roles with confidence and also humility. On the practical side, Kathy was flexible and willing to accommodate our needs, while openly communicating her constraints and preferences. She obviously know how to build lasting relationships.
