About Kate

I've always enjoyed combining the best of both my worlds (my creative knack and my love of teaching and caring for children.) I am a published author and illustrator and I have worked with children my entire career. I've been a nanny for 8 years (8-year-old girl)- one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I've taught art at an elementary school, worked as an art instructor with different age groups, and have been a Lead Teacher for 10 toddlers who loved my stories, projects, and silly animal sounds! I've been caring for children for 20 years and am a proud auntie to seven littles! I am currently pursing my next art bucket list item- designing children's bedding, while continuing to care for children and working as an Administrative Assistant at a church in Des Plaines. I'm very fortunate to have shared my talents with so many people in various ways!
