In August I will be looking for a new position as a nanny. I have been working at a safe home for the past 6 years, and I sadly need to move on. I have been working with children since I was a child. I was a babysitter as a teenager, and continued working with children professionally. I have worked at a before and after school program, an emergency shelter for teens, an independent living program house parent, a preschool, and was a nanny for five years. I am comfortable with all ages. Working with children is the way that I can give back to the community. I believe behind every successful adult is a teacher or childcare provider that believed in them.

Karrieane worked for us for over 3.5 years and we are sorry to see her move on but our needs for a full time nanny have changed. Our schedules were quite hectic on a daily basis and Karrieanne proved to be flexible and dependable to meet our needs. She has also formed quite a relationship with our kids (6 & 7) and was able to be both a friend and able to draw a line when discipline was necessary. Karrieannes duties included teaching, homework, before school, after school, weekends, overnights, soccer practice, play dates, etc (mot much she didn't do). She was active with the kids and was instrumental in keeping them on their schedule with diet and sleep. We also trusted her enough to leave her in charge when we went out of the country (without the kids) for 7 days, she did an outstanding job with the kids while we were gone.
