I have been in the medical and or healthcare industry for over 15 years. I have a BS in Psychology and have worked with the elderly, including those with dementia for over 10 years. The aging community is such a deserving population, which is often overlooked and under cared for. I have worked as a private in- home caregiver, as well as, within a care facility setting for the elderly and disabled. Although, I let my certification laps, I do have CNA experience and training. Along with my EMT-Basic certification and Healthcare Provider CPR. As well as working with the elderly, I have experience in working with special needs, to include: Downs syndrome, Autism/Asperger's, developmentally delayed, and physically challenged. I have personally cared for individuals with Alzheimer's, ALS, Autism/Asperger's, hearing impaired, and TBI.
