About Kalista

Hi there! My name is Kalista :) I've been certified as a CNA (certified nursing assistant) since 2021 and have been working continuously since then. I've worked in nursing homes, long-term care facilities, memory care, and rehab, as well as in an ICU. I'm confident that in any situation I'll be well prepared! Aside from work experience, my grandmother of 91 years has lived with me and my family for around 5 years because of her dementia before she passed away. She was such a bright person, and I miss her everyday. Towards the end, she required everything to be done for her, from cooking meals to personal cares which I helped out with. I understand it's not easy to reach out for help, and even harder to watch someone you love go through it, but I've been there and I understand. I'll care for you or your loved one as if they were my own grandmother :) I'm trained in CPR/lifesupport, as well as various de-esclation techniques for confusion and sundowning.
