Experienced Nurse Assistant
I have provided compassionate care to seniors for the past 10 years in various care settings including: nursing home, medical & surgical nursing unit, pre-surgery and emergency care. My duties have included assisting with activities of daily living (grooming, dressing, feeding, etc.)taking vital signs, checking blood sugars, and communicating with the care team about changes in the patient's condition. I have cared for seniors with dementia, Alzheimer's, recovering from surgery (including joint replacement) and those hospitalized with various medical conditions. I became a CNA after watching my mom battle a chronic illness that eventually took her life. I saw the difference care providers could make for the patient and their families. It is this experience that motivates me to provide the best care to all my patients. I will care for your loved one with respect, kindness and compassion. I am currently going to school two nights a week to further my education in emergency medicine.

My name is Celestte. I have had my CNA license since I was a junior in high school. Since then, I have worked in care centers taking care of anywhere between eight to 12 patients at a time. Because there were so many people to take care of, there wasn't much one-on-one time with the patients, and I didn't like not being able to do that. Now, I do home health care and it is much more rewarding. I love being able to have the time to actually sit down and talk with patients and see how they're doing. I love that patients are excited to see me when I come.
