Vivian worked for us for about 5 months taking care of our sister, Ellen, who had Alzheimer's and kidney disease. She worked with Ellen from the beginning of her need for 24/7 care all the way til Ellen's passing. Vivian was instrumental in creating a homey feel in the house when Ellen was no longer able to create it for herself. She even cooked regularly for Ellen, something Ellen had not been able to do for herself for years. Vivian is warm and loving, knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate. She always included Ellen in the conversation and never left her out, even when Ellen lost her ability to converse. Ellen was so relaxed and happy when Vivian was around, and Vivian gave her her full attention when Ellen needed it, and was tuned in even when Ellen didn't seem to need her. We were incredibly lucky to have found Vivian, she gave our sister compassionate love and attention. She is a rare gem.
