About Kacey

My first experience with sitting was in my last two years of high school. I babysat for three girls between the ages of 3 and 7, as well as two children between the ages of 1 and 4. I also worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor during high school. I grew up swimming on a team and continued on to college where I played water polo for my four years of college. During college in the summers, I worked as a camp counselor/instructor for my coach at his water polo camps. During these camps, I would both instruct the campers as well as supervise them for the nights they stayed at the camp. The campers were between the ages of 7 to 17. After college, I decided to go to Thailand to teach English. In Thailand, I worked as a Kindergarten teacher. I also worked at a private school teaching children between the ages of 3 and 6. After teaching for a few months in Thailand, I decided that I wanted to pursue a career as a primary school teacher when I came home. I plan to go back to school and complete the classes I need to become a teacher. I love children and enjoy spending time with them. I would be able to offer your child swimming instruction, and if interested, I could teach them water polo as well. I could also offer them help with school work. In high school I took four years of Spanish, however, since I have not used it much, I have lost a lot of it. I plan to start taking Spanish classes again when I re-enroll in school.
