I lived in NY for most of my life and have been babysitting since I was 15. I have worked mostly with older children, ages 6-13, but have on occasion cared for some littler ones. I have cared for more boys than girls (because many families want a male babysitter for their male children), but I am wholly comfortable with any gender. I specialize in dealing with tantrums at any age (because we all know they are unique but constant at every age), boo-boos, bedtime, and cooking. The families for whom I work tend to become my extended family, and I would not have it any other way.
