About Julie

I hold a MSEd in Special Education with certification N-6. I have 35+ years of experience working with children of all ages as well, as adults, within school and clinic-based programs. From classroom teaching, individual instruction, psycho-educational assessments, to supervising others, my experiences have encompassed all types of learning difficulties. In general, my focus is on reading and language difficulties, learning strategies, effective work behavior, and study skills. Within the past 8 years, in addition to private tutoring, I have focused on early learning as an Instructor for Learning Centers, Engineering for Kids, and as a Childcare Presch/ PreK lead teacher at daycare. Currently I am newly retired, but continue to Sub at a daycare center. Everyone is unique in their style of learning. My approach is to guide and instruct in a way that is most beneficial to "learning how to learn". I have current PA background checks and fingerprinting through my teaching position.
