About Julia

Hello! I'm Julia, a 23-year-old graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, where I earned my bachelor's degree in environmental engineering. Additionally, I hold associate's degrees in math, physics, engineering, liberal studies, and Spanish from Saddleback College. Teaching has always been my passion. I started tutoring at the age of 13, helping a peer improve her algebra 1 grade. Since then, I've taught students of all ages, from kindergarteners to university-level learners, covering a wide range of subjects. My specialties include math, science, grammar, and Spanish. My background as an AP/honors student throughout high school has equipped me with effective study strategies and time management skills, which I'm eager to share. As a tutor, I excel at simplifying complex topics to make learning easier for my students.
