About Colette

Hello my name is Colette!! Here's is my experience tutoring- I volunteered to be a private multiple subject tutor for a missionary family in Malawi, Africa for fall semester 2018. There I taught history, English, Bible to kids grades third to sixth. -I am passionate about teaching and am currently a senior majoring in Education and minoring in Spanish at UC Irvine. My goal is to be an elementary school teacher after getting my credential. My specialties are in English and Spanish, but I also able to help in other elementary subjects such as science and math. -I competed in competitive speech and debate in high school and would love to help improve my students' communication skills too if needed. -Summer 2020 I have done online English tutoring with a fourth grader and a freshman in high school, and fall 2020 I have begun tutoring elementary students in home with distance learning. I love working with both elementary and high school students!
