About Julia

Hi! I have several years of experience babysitting family members and about 2 years in professional settings. I have my bachelors degree in social work and I am currently in grad school. With my degree in social work I have become very educated on subjects such as child behavior and development, mental health, disabilities, and coping mechanisms to utilize with children. I am an intern with Big Brothers Big Sisters for grad school. I have lots of experience with elementary to middle school aged children in this position. I run an after school program with children at my internship weekly, as well as help out at another after school program. I'm comfortable cooking/making meals for children as well as playing games, doing crafts, and helping with homework.
