About Johanna

Hi! My name is Johanna, I am in my final year as a music and environmental biology major at Columbia University in NYC, graduating this May. I have been working in the childcare industry for almost 4 years now, and love working with kids ages 4+ (will make exceptions for the right people). I am looking for a family to help out as a part- or full-time nanny from around May 16-June 24th. I currently work as a tutor and morning nanny. I spent my last two summers working as both a part-time nanny and tutor for kids ages 18mo - 17yo, and loved every second of it! During the summer of 2021, I worked as a camp educator at the Pacific Science Center, which allowed me to hone a safe and effective balance between learning and play. I love exploring scientific and artistic concepts through experimentation and games. With weekly group sizes of approx. 15 kids and an assistant educator, I proved myself to be organized, flexible, and a great multitasker.
