Hi, my name is Joelle and I am a New York based dancer, choreographer and filmmaker. I am an adjunct professor at the Tisch School at NYU, and an alum of Barnard College of Columbia University. I am a Fulbright Scholar, and am leaving New York in October to live in Paris. When I am not teaching or dancing, I take care of 12 and 9-year-old siblings, and assist with senior care. After living with my grandmother in the later stages of her dementia, I developed an awareness of the level of patience, compassion, and organization needed to make sure that she was comfortable and well taken care of.
