About Jessica

Since I was old enough to babysit I have loved caring for children. I have spent my entire professional life working with children & teens in a variety of educational & mental health settings, first as a school social worker & currently as a mental health therapist. I have current professional licenses for both of these occupations and a Master of Social Work with a focus on children & families. While I have enjoyed these positions, I would like to be with children in a more relaxed setting where the natural desire to play could be nurtured and enhanced by an attuned caregiver. Play is how children learn and process life events. Attuned caregiving is essential to neurocircuitry that is related to emotional regulation which has an important impact on many of life's tasks including peer and familial relationships, academic success, resilience in the face of difficulty and much more. I am excited to use my knowledge & experience to provide safety and support for your child's growth.
