About Jennifer

I'd describe my personality as consistently patient, deeply insightful, and strategically creative :) I became a teacher in 2001. I have worked with preschool through high school aged children in many places in the US, Philippines, and Paraguay. In my spare time, I like to go to the gym and lift with my 17-year-old daughter. I also love to be outside. Traveling is my favorite thing to do, especially internationally. One thing you should know about me is that I have worked with many children, some who have been in a healthy place in life and others who were struggling. I have a gift of meeting a child where they are at and helping them grow and move forward in their development. My skills include expert level communication and behavior management. I also bring creativity into learning and daily routines. Fun and laughter are a necessity! Teaching children to read and write, even at the high school level, are skills I have had a lot of success with over the years.
