I've been working as a senior caregiver for the past 5 years, from 2015-2021. During that time I worked 45 weekly hours devoted to my clients (ages 96, 94)and their family. After her recent stroke, I assisted my client as she learned a new way of eating, talking, toileting and getting around. She recently joined hospice care. I am currently seeking employment as a special needs caregiver. Previous to my work with seniors, I worked as a project manger and gardener as I raised my three children. When I was 24, in 1987, I worked for a few months at The Children's Habilitation Center in Johnston, Iowa. assisting three girls, ages 10-16, with eating, bathing, communicating, and getting to their daily activities. I left the job at the children's center to work with a young man who needed a full-time, live-in caregiver. I look forward to talking to you, and to seeing if we would be a good match. Jane
