About Jamaeca

Hello there, my name is Jamaeca. I have a deep love for working with the elderly population. I have experience with adults with dementia and incontinence. I have experience in bathing, dressing, physical therapy exercises, taking daily vitals, meal prep, and housekeeping. I love being a point of contact, relaying information from appointments and providing quality care. In years past, I received hands-on training in caregiving from Sequoia Senior Solutions. This intensive training heavily covered topics of first aid, safety, incontinence, bathing, dementia/Alzheimer's care, Hoyer lifts, bed transfers, standard and bed transfers, and bloodbourne pathogens. At the end of this training I was given the Certified Companion Aide (CCA) certificate, designated from The Seniors Choice. I also currently pursuing my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at Samuel Merritt University remotely. I am excited to bring my heart into the homes of your loved ones. Much love. Jamaeca.
