If you’re looking for a caregiver, a real caregiver, there are no finer caretakers. Raised in a culture of family, kindness and respect for their elders they connect with their patient. My husband suffered a bad fall and was air lifted to another hospital for emergency surgery. He was in intensive care for 5 days before returning home by ambulance. Because his injury was so unexpected I was unprepared for his 24/7 care. I had found one local caretaker who did all the right things but there was a lack of sensitivity and connection, my husband needed kindness and gentle care. A friend suggested I contact a home care business. Bani Dunn, a wonderful caretaker moved in with us for several months, he and my husband connected instantly, there was an immediate emotional bond between them and with skill, loving hands and an open heart Bani took care of my husband for the remainder of his life.
