Hello, I've been taking care of seniors since I can remember. My Poppop was around and in need of care and whenever I could help out - I was happy to. Professionally, I have been caring for the elderly since 2020. I was certified in Los Angeles for Home Health Care and worked for a company that placed me in many homes with duties that included outings, doctors appt, groceries, laundry, grooming, and cooking. The ages ranged from late 60's to 102. Those that could walk well and those that were in a wheelchair. I've seen how hard it is to cope with the struggles. So I do my best to respect the comfort of the routine, and give space when needed. Some enjoyed chit chat while others just needed a hand. I'm happy to adjust accordingly. My empathy and life long experience with the elderly sparks my interest in this kind of work. I'm currently looking for a part-time job. Ideally, to help with organization, shopping, and meal preparation, and recreational outings.
