I've been my mother and my uncles caretaker during their aging and ailing years. I've also stepped up to help an elderly neighbor with her care needs for the last 14 months. I prepare her meals, help her with dressing and do light housework. I would enjoy being a companion to an elderly person who needs a little help with daily activities. I'm very social and active. I love going out to lunch or dinner or the movies or maybe just for a short walk. I enjoy hearing people's stories of their life and respect and empathize with how things have changed with age. I would take pride in helping someone age with dignity and grace.
