About Hope

I am passionate and positive person who has grown to love taking care of kids through experiences with my own nieces and nephews, as well as extensive involvement in childcare in school. Through high school, I pursued classes and extracurricular activities that involved Early Childhood Education, Special Education and caretaking. I interned for a year at Meadowlark Elementary as an assistant to a kindergarten teacher who taught me so much about how to interact, involve and teach children. I also interned at a special needs high school during my senior year and gained much needed respect and knowledge involving interacting with children and young adults who have more specific needs. Through these experiences I grew and found that each child has such a unique and wonderful personality and I was thankful to learn how to teach and nurture them, according to their personalities and talents. I also have 2+ years of experience babysitting/nannying up to 3 children.
