About Rachel

Rachel is a college graduate who has nannied in the rat race of New York City, specializing in the care of newborns to 10-year-olds. She believes in tailoring her caregiving approach based on the specific needs of the individual children. Rachel has worked in many different capacities with children including; substitute teacher (pre-school and lower school), Sunday school teacher (toddlers), residential assistant (middle school and high school), musical theatre camp director (elementary), date night babysitter, and long-term nanny (three boys ages 2, 5, and 8). Rachel loves children and genuinely enjoys getting to know their personalities, understanding that they are full and complete persons in small packages. Rachel currently is a mother to an 8-month-old little boy and is an Orton-Gillingham-trained tutor for students with Dyslexia. Things to note: She will bring her child during childcare employment. She is very allergic to cats.
