About Emily

Hi, I'm Emily! Thanks for checking out my profile. You could say I've been in childcare my entire life. My Mom ran a home daycare while I was growing up. I've helped her and babysat for numerous children, of all ages, throughout the years. My Mom moved to NC several years ago and became a nanny for several families. I continued to help her, often filling in for her when she had to bring my critically ill father to his doctor's appointments. I spent many years homeschooling my children, planning (or helping with) activities for our homeschooling community. When my children attended public school, I was always a classroom/school volunteer. I have experience with special needs children, particularly individuals with autism. Both of my children have autism, as well as many of my friend's children. I've often cared for their kids for sleepovers, date nights & snow days. Please reach out to me with any questions.
