About Hong

Hello everyone. My name is Hong and I have been a high school math teacher for the past 8 years. I have two children aged 14 and 16. I came from Vietnam when I was 19 years of age. I can fluently speak both Vietnamese and English. I'm passionate about helping my students master the skills and concepts of math as well as making connections with real life application. Math can be fun and relevant to daily operations but is often mistaken as difficult and boring. I hope to help your student make sense of what they are learning so they can be inspired and motivated to learn rather forced. Thank you for reading my bio.
