I have 20 plus years working as an Activity Director/professional caregiver. I specialize in Alzheimer and dementia residents, and with people with memory impairments. It is not about making memories anymore, but you can create beautiful "moments" for them with dignity and respect. My goal working with these special people is to take them out of the disease by creating "moments" of joy no matter what the behavior. I have several references if desired.

She worked for me and was a student of mine. She is a hard working,creative and compassionate person. All necessary to be an effective Activity Professional. She is always ready to take on new tasks and gets along very well with staff. She has the ability to form satisfying relationships with all residents as well as their families. She creates programs that are age appropriate and interesting for all levels of residents she is an asset to any department.
