About Hayley

My name is Hayley and I love kids! When I was a child, my family babysat two infants. As a teenager, a family often asked me to babysit their two (eventually three) children. I would babysit for a few hours each time and the kids always seemed to have fun. I got my Associates Degree in Family and Consumer Science and took several child guidance classes. I also volunteered in a preschool/daycare that took infants up to 6-year-old's; while there, I worked mostly with the infants. I also did some volunteer work in a kindergarten classroom and gained experience with five and 6-year-old's. I continued on to work at a daycare for two summers and floated around all different age groups. I just received my bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies and have learned even more about how children develop and how to best promote their development. I have been CPR/First Aid certified, and have also gone under other intensive childcare trainings at my current job.
