About Hannah

I have three associates degrees in Political Science, Social Justice Studies, and Sociology, preparing to eventually transfer to a four-year university to pursue a bachelor's degree. My interests are education, politics, herbalism, music, sustainability, community health, and nonprofit work. I love to do creative activities and imaginative play with kids, and am also a huge believer in getting outside, and not relying on electronics or "screen time" for entertainment. A lot of my child-caring philosophy derives from the waldorf philosophy. My experience is diverse, I've babysat for 7 years, worked in childcare facilities, volunteered at the summer camps, and even coordinated my own nonprofit summer camp for LGBTQ teens in August of 2016. These experiences have taught me patience, understanding, and fueled my passion for working with youth of all ages.
